We are officially dependent on a launcher-based client now.

• Our custom-developed launcher syncs your game live so no more outdated clients.
• We are not using WZ files which are very big in size that take so much time and server resources to update.
• Our game data structure is built on very small 10,000+ IMG files which are really easy to manage and download.
• It checks your game files in seconds and only downloads very specific data portions you need for a single update. 
• You will not be able to run the game directly from MapleMyth.exe client file but only by the launcher.
• It has a native News and Events section that will automatically take you to the website post when clicked.
• It has a button to automatically allow MapleMyth through Windows Firewall and adds a safe folder exception.
• It will show you the latest patch notes whenever files are updated.

If you don't want to download the new setup you can just download the launcher to your C:\MapleMyth folder and run it from there, it will automatically update your game files to the newest version:
